Young Australian's usually have a New Year's Eve party celebration with their friends only. There is no traditional food to eat, but sometimes on New Year's day both family and friends get together and have an outdoor barbeque, which is mostly meat with some salad. It's a time to relax and have fun, but there is no set tradition as to the way we celebrate the new year.
