☆ Is traditional music still used in Japan?

今回は日本の伝統音楽である
「雅楽」についてです。

Perhaps the earliest music developed in Japan
was the 'gagaku' - court instrumental music,
developed at the Heian court. 'Gagaku' means
'refined' in English. Interestingly, some of the
early traditional songs were about political
and social issues, which came from Nara and
Heian. Nowadays, Kabuki productions still
use traditional Japanese music to coincide
with the historical themes of each play.
Traditional Japanese music is still relevant
today, because it reveals and expresses a
fascinating culture through unusual music
tones and music notes.
