やはり言葉の壁は大きいのでしょうか？
外国の音楽が売り上げ１位を取ることはまれですね。

Sony Music Entertainment is one of the biggest
record companies in the world. Yamaha is the
largest manufacturer of musical instruments in
the world. Japan's music makes billions of
dollars worldwide every year! But the language
barrier to make a USA number one music hit is
a problem. Sakamoto Kyu made a number one
music hit in the USA in 1963 - but no one has
been able to achieve such fame since then. So
Japan makes most of its money domestically,
not internationally. Can you imagine Japanese
singers being able to sing in fluent English? I
am sure they would become international stars
if they could. So learning English does have
good advantages!

滅多にありません。
そう考えると坂本久はアメリカで１位を獲得していますが、
すごい実績ですね！
