最近納豆ダイエットが嘘だったという話題がありますね。
普段朝納豆を食べている私ですが、
１週間ほど納豆ダイエットを実行していました・・・。
半信半疑だったとはいえ、嘘だと知って悲しいです。
今回はそんな状況に使うフレーズ。
「Too Good To Be True」

Have you ever bought something for a very cheap
price and it breaks one month later? We use the
expression, "too good to be true" in these situations.
The recent natto diet craze is a good example.
Eating natto twice a day doesn't mean you will
automatically lose weight. Unfortunately, it was
"too good to be true."

craze - 熱狂的な騒ぎ
lose weight - 体重が減る

「真実にしてはうますぎる話」という日本語がぴったりでしょうか。
騙されないように注意しましょう。
