海外の生活用品は、とにかく大きいですよね。
洗剤にしてもそこまで大きくしなくても！というくらい。
ペットボトルのお水も、日本では考えられないサイズ
のようですね。

bad drought. Japan is very lucky not to have such a
water problem.

この場合のsinceは、日本人がよく学校で習った文法にもある
"from the time"と同じ意味合いです。
"since"が出てきてひっかかりやすいのは、
この"〜したときから"という意味合いともうひとつ、
"because=〜なので"という意味合いでも使うところです。
