「fit in」です。
環境に馴染む、という意味で使いましょう。

Have you heard of the phrase 'fit in'?
It is used in situations such as at work,
school, visiting someone or a country.
It literally means being able to adjust
or adapt to a new environment. So for
example, sometimes when children
start a new school year they are anxious
to fit in or be accepted and to adapt
quickly to their environment. Usually if
people don't fit in, they are not accepted
or they are a misfit. A misfit is someone
who does not completely follow the usual
customs or culture of their environment.
Sometimes foreigners are misfits in Japan.
They live in the country, but they don't
always follow all the customs, etc.

新生活が始まって早１ヶ月。
皆さんは新しい環境に「fit in」しましたか？

I have no problem fitting in with Japanese
society. But when I visit my own country
it is sometimes difficult to fit in, because
I have adapted to Japanese culture! However,
it is exciting visiting other countries and
being able to fit in with their customs and culture.

adjust - 順応する、適応する
adapt - 適応する=adjust
anxious - 心配して、きになる
misfit　- はみ出し者、不適任者
