Black Sheep

今日は「black sheep」について。
真っ白の羊の群れの中に黒い羊が一匹。
「black sheep」はそんなイメージ。
一家の中の厄介者、もてあまし物、
そんな意味を持つそうです。

Have you ever heard of the famous expression:
'He/She is the black sheep of the family'? It's
famous for family situations only. Black sheep
of the family is used to describe a different
family member. A black sheep person usually
has different thinking or behavior from other
family members. Sometimes black sheep family
members have relationship problems with their
siblings or parents because their thinking is very
different from everyone. I think my older sister is
the black sheep of the family, because her
personality is very different and her behavior is
also different. Sometimes people who are
thought of as black sheep feel lonely or unhappy.
Being a black sheep is not always a positive
image, most family members want to be the
same as each other. Are there any black sheep
in your family?
