Trivia
日本でも数年前は流行っていました、トリビア。
トリビアは英語で「trivia」、そのままで覚えやすいですね。
トリビアを知っていると話題になって会話が弾みます。

Trivia - unimportant information that the media, movies,
and daily English conversations are often focused on.
Trivia is fun. If you learn some trivia, your conversations
can become more interesting and even funny.
Some good examples of trivia are: there are 30,000
hair cells in humans, Greenland has the second biggest
amount of ice in the world, the tallest living man in
the world is from China, the weirdest flower comes
from Indonesia and pizza is the number one junk
food in the USA. Now this information may not be
special to most people, but learning and knowing
about trivia can help start a good conversation.
Trivia also shows you are interested in the world
and broad minded. Andy is very good at trivia.
He has a lot of knowledge and his conversations
are usually interesting because of his interest in trivia.
So next time you come to Bella, try talking about
some trivia with the teachers, especially Andy!
