I'm in limbo
そんな時は「He/She is in limbo.」

If you are feeling inbetween places in your life
and not sure where you belong and where you
should live, what work you should do or what
you want to do at the moment, here's an
appropriate expression to use: "I'm in limbo."
Often foreigners living abroad feel like they
live in limbo. They don't feel like they belong
in any particular country. Some foreigners are
like nomads or endless travelers, traveling
from country to country - like modern day gypsies.
Have you met people that fit this description?
I have. Living in limbo is exciting for some people
who are constantly moving, traveling and
searching for new adventure.
nomad=放浪者
