Yo-yo diets - Do you do this?

「ヨーヨーダイエット」という言葉をご存知ですか?
過激なダイエットの後にリバウンドする、
体重の増減を繰り返すダイエットのことです。
体には良くないようですので、クリスティーナも
注意しています。

Yo-yo diets are becoming increasingly popular
and causing more danger than good to people's
bodies.
So what are yo-yo diets you ask? Yo-yo diets
are a mixture of eating well for 3 or 4 days
and then suddenly eating junk food and stopping
exercise. They are not well balanced diets, because
they are not consistent. It is best to eat breakfast
everyday for example, not skip it 2 times or more
a week. It's also better to exercise regularly than
just one time a week. Yo-yo diets can confuse the
body and cause more upset with weight, often
people gain weight. This is a good season to start
being careful with diets as the weather gets colder.
Sometimes people eat more than they should in
the colder weather and they stop exercising
because they are too cold, so their diet is like a
yo-yo - going up and down!

Yo-yo=Going up and down, not balanced
Consistent=着実な
confuse=混乱させる
upset=不調
