Inauguration of a life time

先週はアメリカに新しい大統領が誕生しました。
オーストラリア人のクリスティーナが
感想を書いてくれました。

This week is one of the most historical events
that America will witness in the 21st century
- President Obama's inauguration
in Washington D.C. This life time event will
cost over one hundred and fifty　million dollars ($150m),
making it the biggest inauguration celebration yet!
On top of that, Obama has had a special
custom-made Cadillac Limo car made for the occasion.

So how does an non-American feel about Obama's
inauguration? From a personal point of view, I am
stunned to be alive to see this incredible achievement
happen in my life time. I wish the USA peace, prosperity
and all the happiness of a new chapter in history.

in the USA and officially swearing in Obama as
the president
