Late cherry blossom season

東京も桜が満開になりました♪
ベラの裏の公園も、桜が満開です。
お昼頃には沢山の方がお花見を楽しんでいる様子。
ベラにお越しの際は、是非お散歩してみて下さい。

For the first time in over 9 years the cherry blossom
season is late. Although many people celebrated the
famous flower season late in March, the flowers were
not fully open. Perhaps the flowers are taking longer
to bloom, because of the rain and cold temperatures.
As a result of this late season, I will visit my local
temple for a second time. But I won't be having
a party. This time I'll go for a lovely walk to
my local temple and see the famous trees. It's a good
time to enjoy spring! But it's also a time to remember
that the cherry blossoms don't last for very long and
so it is good to quickly try and see before they fly away!
