Shake Shake Shake

日本は地震大国！
最近では関東で地震がよく観測されますが
皆様は地震対策、できていますか？
お水や食料だけでなく、近所の避難場所なども
勉強しておいた方が良いですね。

Japan is well known for its earthquakes and
there is no way we can easily forget about
them as they are a constant reminder to us
every few weeks or sometimes even weekly.
The recent earthquakes in Tokyo are a timely
reminder to ensure there is enough bottled
water stored in your home, enough canned
food as well as a first aid kit. I've always
liked the famous Boy Scouts motto:
"Always be prepared" and in Japan you can
never be too prepared for an earthquake.
And if a　really big earthquake ever happens
at least you have extra food and water supplies!
Believe it or not I am not scared of earthquakes,
I've experienced so many now that they have
become a part of my Japanese life style.

constant=不定の、一定の、休み無く続く
reminder=思い出させる物、合図、注意
ensure=確実にする
prepare=準備する

私も東京で大地震が起こっても大丈夫なように
ベラにスニーカーを一足置いています。
電車が動かなくなっても家に帰れるように、
準備しておくだけでも安心しますよ。
